    Sack Him Now!

You might, I genuinely wouldn't. The man is poison. As for standing up to Hicks, that's been shown to be a recipe for stability and success

    Sack Him Now!

Huh??? Two, at best three of that five would be in Rafa's best team at the moment. But I agree with your wider point. Sadly, I think basically it's now f***ed under Rafa. For whatever reason, he's become swept up in a tide of events largely beyond his control, and I don't really see a way back. The players have stopped playing for him, the owners have fatally undermined him and I can't see how he can turn the tide. Wenger or Ferguson, even in their trophy-less periods, were never anything other than total authority figures at their clubs, and I don't think Rafa will ever be seen in that light again. The thought of what the future holds fills me with despair. And one last thing - Mourinho as manager would be the final nail in the coffin of everything that makes (made?) Liverpool special. Cheers
  3. It was s***, but we didn't deserve to lose. The whole club is on a downward spiral at the moment and I don't think any other manager would have done better in the circumstances. If some of you want to make Rafa the whipping boy so be it, but he is not the problem at our club. not by a f***ing long chalk.
  4. The only way it can work is: Xabi Alonso No Sissoko Gerrard and Mascheranoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
  5. I think it looks like a slightly upmarket Tesco superstore.
  6. What a load of old rubbish. Something tells me the correct answer may lie somewhere in between?

  9. This is 100% correct. If they sack Rafa for Kilnsmann we might as well pack up and go home. We stand every chance of ending up another Spurs or Villa. What is certain is that everything we stand for, everything that once made us special will be dust. Might sound a bit drama queeny but these are desperate times.
  10. Kenny is bloody hilarious on the podcast! And nando so sweet. Good effort considering how alternately bizarre and pedestrian the questions are.
  11. Ant for manager. If you think Rafa's holding us back, you clearly don't know you're born. Be very very careful what you wish for.

  15. Ooh, hark at you
  16. Get in there!
  17. Benayoun Gerrard Torres
  18. I'll repeat my post from another thread, as you seem to be doing the same. Voronin was the best player on the park, bar Yossi and Gerrard, at the point he came off. That's my opinion and it may be overstating it, but your opinion is just plain wrong. Cheers
  19. Huh???? Best player bar Yossi and Gerrard, up to the point he came off. Weirdness
  20. Bascally what Lawton, tapping those wells of infinite wisdom, said. So what happens when Torres and Alonso are back? Are we going to play Voronin on the wing? Does Xabi sit on the bench? Or do we leave out Mascherano? Nope, can't do that, because that would be messing with a winning team. Perhaps we could play Stevie on the right? Ah, but no doubt Lawton would have something to say about that. He's so very keen to give the same team a run out next match - but you can guarantee if that happened, Rafa would face criticism from Lawton for his mystifying cold-shouldering of the loyal and ever-dependable Steve Finnan. The guy is a f***ing bell-end. His ideal Liverpool team would contain about 15 players.
  21. Oh for f***'s sake. That's absurd, and you make yourself look like a real idiot. Fair enough to disagree with Rafa, but the lack of respect on show for a manager who has achieved what he has is, frankly, risible. Worthy of the playground.
  22. It is a f***ing shocking article. Unbelievably poor and lacking in insight. An excuse to recycle and repackage the same tired old b******s: football is a simple game made complicated by know-nothings from foreign countries. Rafa the rotator is a clown, and all would be fine if only someone like Lawton were in charge. Prick.
