Why Johnson ahead of Bent? Bent's my new favourite. He's quicker stronger and better in the air than owen and defoe and has a better record than defoe. I've been fighting against rating him because i thought he was avg up until this season but he's been undeniable quality. He can play on his own or with a partner. I haven't forgotten what Johnson has done the two seasons prior to this or indeed this season but i think bent has the edge. As said earlier he's my new favourite. Plus if we sign him we'll have Crouch and Bent up front then all we'll need to complete our strikeforce is a Neal and a Standing.

It's as obvious as obvious gets that he's not leaving this summer. Maybe in two or three summers time he will. But having won the league and european cup a couple of times by then i'll not begrudge him. I will however let his tyres down so he can't get to the airport. I'd have Capello or Maybe Jewell if his upwards curve continues. In fact if his upward curve continues wigan will win the league next year and i'll reinflate rafa's tyres myself

There's no "arguably" about it. Although I haven't read the football guardian, I've no doubt that scousers get it worse for some reason it genuinely is open season on your city from absolutely everyone it's ingrained into the national psyche.
