Surely this could be seen as a positive though. 1) Hicks and Gilett are relying on CL money to finance the club, if this move makes it more likely/more of a risk that we won't qualify year after year then they will surely be more likely to sell. 2) Dubai will want to better Abu Dabi and could come back with an improved offer. Personally I think this move could prove to be the catalyst that sees DIC buy out Hicks and Gilett. Here's hoping anyway.

I'd be happy for the games not to be on tv anymore, only if everyone that wants to go to see the match can get a ticket. Whilst there are so many people unable to get tickets I would be furious if games weren't televised.

why get booked? surely it's better for them to sit on the bench at Stamford Bridge, just in case we need them. I can understand it in the quarter finals as you might get a booking at a later stage, but it doesn't matter if you get booked in the final. Obviously if you can guarantee to injure someone without it being red, then take the booking.

I dreamt that Everton had finished fourth and we were in the champions league final against united. We then scored a flukely last minute winner to piss off both our main rivals. Would this be the best scenario ever. (off course it would be the worst nightmare if we lost the game)
