Hopefully not on the same day as the matches. We had a flight at 9am from Cuiaba to Foz do Iguaçu. We were on the plane on time, but then sat in it for 3 hours on the runway as they tried to fix some software. Eventually we went back to the gate and had to get off. It was madness trying to get to the reception desk and then try and arrange alternative travel. Eventually they put us on a flight to Sao Paolo and we were there for about 8 hours before we could get a flight to Foz do Iguaçu. so instead of arriving at 11am, we arrived at 1am. Still it could have been a one off as the rest of our 5 or so internal flights were all fine. Brazil is great you'll love it, but they don't quite have the same sense of urgency as we tend to have here. BTW did you have to go via a tour operator in Brazil or are you now able to buy internal flights from the UK?
