Trouble is though that his thing is mainly twatting the ball into the first defender.

Option to buy, right? If he's good and he love That would make more sense. I would rather pay 35 million for an aging Bowen in 80 million for a past his best Sarr. Probably get more goals and assistsout of him as well.

Yep. Agreed. Two things can be true at the same time. Harvey Elliot can go and for good reasons. Neither Joe Gomez nor Federico Chiesa should still be at the club. It all speaks to the absolute s*** for brains “planning” of the Hughes and Edwards regime over the last 18 months or so. In any clear headed and sane club we simply would not be having this conversation. Yer ma…

Then again that means he’s occupying a spot that a much younger kid who might improve us might be able to occupy and own. One thing I know about Harvey Elliott - as much as I think he’s sound (despite the terrible hairdo) - he ain’t making massive strides to becoming a much better player over the next few years…

If it's a season-long loan then there can't be an obligation to buy if his contract is up at the end of the season.

But he’s still Gary Barlow so whatever he came back with was still s***e.

I know, right? I almost posted earlier on that although I know Mo was/is a leftie playing on the right, he is the exception rather than the norm, but suddenly the only criterion we seem to have for buying a right-sided player is that they are left-footed. The world's gone crazy.

Or you could just check it in his profile…
