    I want to see Darwin come on. Score the winner, go completely mental and then disappear into the Kop like in escape to victory. Fans disguising him, wrapping him is scarfs caps etc. and we never see him again. He reappears in the Peruvian lower leagues in a season or two but by then we’ve won a few more leagues and we’ve all moved on.

    The amount of times the ball bounces across the peno spot and we’ve got no one there is mental. Either from a cross or a corner deflected. Fowler would have 15 plus from there alone ( side footed into the corners) Someone who likes standing or who naturally hangs around the peno spot please.

    He’s gambled massively with using the same players again and again and it looks like it’s going to pay off big time. We are crawling over the line right now. We look kinda crap for ages but we’d all have taken this 100% at the start of the season. He’ll have a far better idea come the summer of what’s needed to do it all again so it’s been a brilliant first season. Perfect really.

    If he was staying I think he’d have alluded to it being his preference by now even if a deal wasn’t finalised like Mo did. The whole thing feels like a “look at me, will I won’t I tease” and it’s just annoying the fans. He’d probably have less fans booing him if he was more upfront with his decision than the current thing he’s doing.

    Taking my son who’s 15. He’s the same age I was last time we won the league with a crowd. Serendipity I guess. I’ve never been when we’ve won a league and who knows when such a chance comes again. Finish up work on a 15 month project next Friday that’s been brutal for me so this is just such a moment. I can’t wait.

    Weirdly I read the dortmund dressing room were ecstatic when he left. Sounds like he was always a massive ego.

    In my mind he’s gone already and it’s Bradley and Frimpong fighting it out and that’s exciting already. Happy to go more conventional again as some of the accommodations made for Trent at times were really frustrating and made us play a weirdly over engineered version of football that I’m not even sure Klopp was 100% sure of.
