  1. Exactly. Everyone just looked at each other with a look of resignation when he made that pass. It was his moment to sign off on a semi high. Even if he missed like you said everyone would have cheered the fact we are battering them with chances.
  2. Saw a clip of a spurs fan complaining about how embarrassing spurs are that “Not only is Salah scoring against us he’s got the time to take selfies with fans during the game. That’s how crap we are”
  3. Best day out ever. Back at the hotel with my son and we are done. That was just the best day ever. All of it. Every single bit. Just wow. The city is alive and full of good will and happiness. Ended up with a bunch of lads from Mexico who were in tears with the overwhelming nature of it all. Mental.
  4. When he mentioned Klopp at the end I’m not embarrassed to say I shed a tear. What a day. Football completed.
  5. Heard we have to pay a bazillion if Chiesa starts.
  6. Was meant to go up tomorrow morning on the train but then woke up in the middle of the night panicking about cancelled trains, London marathons etc on the day. So in some fevered moment booked train tickets for today and a cheap hotel for tonight instead.
  7. Agreed. He looks done this season. I’m still glad he’s not fit for this one as ( probably not true) he always seems to score v us.
  8. Is "just" winning your domestic league enough. But if he has a little flurry of goals and assists to round the season off then he's got to be right up there.

  11. They need better quality on the left too. Someone like Saka to take the load off.
  12. I've got to the pub late I see. Like 10:30 ish...
  13. It'll be funny watching Arsenal doing it. They've tried to emulate us in everything under Arteta so they'll have their cameras out so they can copy what champions do if they ever get there.
  14. How is he only 30? I'm sure he was around peek Gerrard Lampard Scholes time. This must be his 25th year in the premier league.

  16. Darwin misses chances like you miss the point.
  17. I was just using him as an example of an emotionally charged player is all. He was better and happier under Klopp. We know he's not good enough now but that wasn't the point i was making.
  18. Two totally different styles of management isn't it. I can get on board with both as a fan but I'm sure it's been a big transition for some of the players. You can see Mo loves it. While Darwin probably misses the arm around the shoulder of Klopp. Probably similar to Gerrard and Rafa actually. Klopp brings an emotional heart on sleeve momentum building band of brothers style philosophy which is fantastic to be part of I imagine and brilliant to watch. It's tribal and fits football brilliantly. But it must be exhausting and it clearly was. Slot is just totally different. More Rafa like. More quite authoritative head master. Emotions are managed or removed as much as possible and we see a more practiced clinical approach. Both ways clearly work if the person is brilliant at what they do. Luckily we've had back to back brilliance leading the charge.
  19. Exactly this season doesn't happen without Klopp. It also doesn't happen without Slot. Fair play to whoever earmarked Slot for the job. It's been a staggeringly great appointment. I'm really interest to see what happens once he moves away from Klopps players and gets to build his own team. Fingers crossed he's great at that bit too.
  20. The salty nature of other fans claiming the league is terrible this year is funny. Manc fans claiming it's a terrible standard. If so why are you 41 points from the top then? A good barometer is always how good the teams in the middle of the league are. Villa Bournemouth Brighton and Brentford are all good teams.
