there's about 4 penalties here Webb said: "What we've said to the officials is, if you get one of those extreme situations where one player is clearly dragging another one to the floor in an extreme non footballing action, even if it's off the ball, we expect either the referee to see it or, if it's a clear one, then the VAR will will intervene and recommend the referee looks at it at the screen because it fits the criteria that we've laid out."

iirc - the Neville/VAR explanation was that he was competing for the ball so it wasn't handball in the first picture incident (outside of that photo as it's framed) - Rice is outside the 6yard box, nearpost side, holding a Chelsea player, both arms wrapped around him, stopping him from moving, not looking at or interested in the ball at all. It's farcical. just seeing the Utd pen/red card now 'kinell

we certainly missed him v Forest. Only seen the highlights from West Ham.

They won't and nor should they care if they win the league - but their fans were deffo the most critical of us winning it last season. They thought it was their right to win it when City dropped off. And whilst we wait for City's charges to be proven/punished - it would be very funny if they do indeed bottle the title from here and finished 2nd for the 4th season running. It would surely be the end of Arteta. However, i think their run-in remains much easier and i do expect them to win the League. They'll probably park the bus at the Etihad and get a draw. Really hope they don't get a multiple trophy haul though - they shouldn't be feted or spoken about in the same breath as some of the top sides of English football playing like this.
