I have a mate who supports Bristol City who said to me 'i don't care if we finish 91st of the football league clubs as long as (Bristol) Rovers are 92nd' which is kinda the same thing but given their respective positions in the football world their paths rarely cross these days. That Everton are the only club of the 92 not to win any trophy/promotion this century it's not a great surprise to see them like this. They don't have a fan under the age of 30 who's ever seen them win a thing. Probably none under 35 that can remember their last trophy lift. That's gotta eat at you. Add to that their elders have spent those 3+ decades telling them it's all Liverpool's fault their club are completely s*** and well... this is where it leads.
