Reminder for this...

About 2,000 of them - and fair play to them for that 70,000+ still filling OT until they get pumped by the mighty reds, then they scarper off sharpish to get the green and gold scarves out
-
Probably due to them buying Utd with debt and loading it straight onto the club by and large they were ok with them while they were winning
-
He can’t if he could the Saudis would have done treble that with Newcastle already and bought everyone
-
Until a blatant one goes against your team that wouldnt have done but for your stupid 45 second rule
-
And when does that clock start ticking? And what happens if the tech glitches? If the tv angle that clearly shows the erroneous decision stalls and takes 46 seconds to load/play in short you can’t stick a timer on it But having a s*** ref this week marking the homework of a s*** ref who marked his the week before - that they can do something about. They won’t cos they’re f***ing t***s but still

The Guardian's prediction place thing

The Ev in 10th seems bold -
And like those tea towel wearing Geordie’s they’re naively thinking “we’re rich and gonna sign bIG nAMeS now” and not giving much of a f*** about anything else all a bit depressing
-
We’ve got Xabi Alonso, Momo Sissoko, Spearing and Mascheranooooooo i think it went

yep - been the case for ages, like back into last season we'll probably get Barcola done for megabucks and it'll be 'oooh look at the new shiny thing we've bought' while the glaring holes in the squad get exposed time and again through the season. Could have thrown £40mm at West Ham for Bowen, he'd have done for a couple of years before selling him back to the 'ammers, assuming he really does love it there. Then got cracking with the porous midfield, fullback and Ekitike situ Maybe Iraola pulls this all out of the fire, maybe Isak/Wirtz become the new Rush/Dalglish, and maybe Barcola is the new Henry, maybe Virgil never gets injured or old, maybe Bradley comes back sooner and doesn't immediately breakdown again, maybe Frimpong has learned how to defend, maybe Kerkez is back to his best LB in the league Bournemouth form and Tsimi is an able deputy. Maybe Jacquet and Leoni don't breakdown injured and are the real deal, the future Hansen/Lawro, maybe Alisson can kick the ball without doing his hamstrings this year, maybe Mamadashvilli has the superglue removed from his feet and can come and deal with crosses now, maybe Elliott is a revelation, maybe the midfielders are all back to title-winning form after their year off, maybe Gomez can play 90 minutes without missing the 2 months after (ok, i've gone too far now) I mean it could all come together - but wow, there's a lot that needs to go our way here if we're not prepared to help ourselves in the market.

no European football, one game a week, massive squad of players - it's what the mancs did last year -

it'll be City 2nd, mancs 4th, us 5th, Spurs 6th -
it's not that great if he stays tbh
-
which is why we all know they cheated
-
their squad of 1st teamers is enormous and their wage bill on the rise with the success (bonuses) and new signings (higher wages) so it makes a certain sense from that pov
-
EXACTLY - so we need to get on it
-
he's not s***, he started the Champions League final for Arsenal - ahead of Zubimendi et al. He's obviously had his nose put out of joint by the Guimares signing and wants out/or Arsenal want him out as surplus to requirements and his pure PSR profit. We're weak all over the place and this is a gift from a rival. Ridiculous behaviour to let the mancs and Chelsea have a free run at him
-
said it a wee while back when it was first rumoured he might be available - if Arsenal are prepared to let him go (and for £45mm) and we're not all over it, when he covers both full backs and centre mid, I'll be as mad as a cut snake. That we'll sit back and let Chelsea/United take him would be nuts. He's only 19, if it doesn't work out you'll get your money back for him in 3/4/5 years. he got sent off for a DOGSO - team foul with his keeper massively out of position and then sent off a short time after which was rescinded. He did some k****ead wind up of Haaland
