Just as a comparison I looked back on the history of the Sale of the Boston Red Sox The Sale of the Red Sox to NESV was approved on January 16th 2002. A New General Manager was appointed on February 28th 2001 and exactly one week later the Manager was fired. That’s 50 days from approval to a new manager. If they run with roughly the same timeframe for LFC then you have to add 50 days to the day they took over LFC. That date was 15th October 2010. Fifty days are up on December 4th. Maybe they’ll be nice and let him be in charge during the Villa game on the 6th… Of course it was in between seasons for the red sox but who knows how that influences the way they act? Roy – start packing….. My money is on 7th December...

I'm pro Benetiz and think that he was hard done by. One of the few in the club who stood up to the owners and paid the price for it. However if he'd stayed, said some of the stuff that Roy had and positioned us in the same place Roy has then I'd be calling for his head. I'm not a fickle fan. I expect more from this club. I think Roy is out of his depth and he does have any of the qualities I look for in a manager and leader. It's time for Roy to be replaced with someone who understands what this club is all about.
