  1. Ok, lucky goal for them, though Bradley got caught in behind initially.
  2. I've got Jonathan Pearce on mine. Reminds me too much of those days when we were on Channel 5 in the UEFA Cup.
  3. Lille down to ten men, second yellow.
  4. Just been keeping it simple, no need to bust a gut, conserve energy. Patient in build up.
  5. Darwin with two sloppy passes in quick succession.
  6. Mo had much better options there. Could do with Darwin grabbing one to keep momentum.
  7. That's a lovely finish by Mo.
  8. Very patient at the moment, we're not trying to force it. Controlled and waiting for an opportunity.
  9. a*** 2-0 up and blew it. The booing from the a*** fans was despicable. AFTV should be highly amusing. So as you were before our game against Notts Forest. What a day for us, the gap could've been one point and now it's six.
  10. As long as we maintain the gap with that game in hand it doesn't matter what Arsenal do. Why that late winner today was so important.
  11. We had over 35+ shots on goal, if we had come away with a point it would've been deflating. Just been scouring the Internet and my suspicions about Mo appear to be well founded. https://www.statmuse.com/fc/ask/salah-goals-by-month-career These are the stats of Mo's performances by calendar month. He peaks every season in December and then almost resets every January. It's why it is important other players start to step up and chip in with a few goals. Jota, Darwin, Diaz and some of the midfield boys need to bring it.
  12. Darwin has these moments in him because we all know there is a fantastic player in there. That's what makes him so frustrating, he's got bags of potential but it appears he has limited game intelligence. If he could just do this more on a game by game basis and show that consistency we've got a hell of a player on our hands.
  13. Performance the past two games have improved, we dominated both Forest and Brentford on their own grounds and came away with four points. Mo's goals have dried up but you got to play him because he's so dangerous. I could be wrong but I believe Mo has a history of going off the boil at the start of the calendar year. Diaz is worrying me, he's making basic errors and is going through a slump himself. Maybe we need someone from the middle of the park to step up and chip in with a few goals MacAllister or Szoboszlai.
  14. You beautiful man, he blows hot and cold but he stepped up today to score the crucial goals.
  15. He's played too many games this season, age has caught up with him. Think Tsimikas needs to start from now on.

    2024/25 Season

Let's be honest here, how many times this season have we played well for the full 90 mins because these first half performances are doing my head in. Why does it take half time team talk to get the players where they need to be?
  17. The key to Forest great form recently is that when they go 1-0 up they sit back and defend extremely well. They then use the long ball up to Woods and their two pacey wingers to counter attack the opposition. Just don't concede first otherwise it could turn out to be a tough day.
  18. Some people were saying a*** had a nice run of games now with most of them being at home. But now losing two in a row at home in front of their fans is just perfect for us.
  19. And a*** win would've been nice but on the other side of it, this defeat just puts more pressure on Arteta. The Arsenal fan base could start turning against him and soon it'll become toxic at the Emirates. There's already signs of fans turning against him already. This will just reinforce it.
  20. We need to get back to winning ways and fast. We must beat Forest because right now we're going through a wobble. We need to prove to ourselves that we can stay in this title race.
  21. Lost possession 25 times and lost all five of his duels. Appalling statistics for any professional footballer at this level. Probably his worst performance in a red shirt and the worst of anyone in a red shirt for a very long time. Anyone can have a bad game, I get that, but what was telling was his lack of effort when things were going wrong for him. He never busted a gut to try and correct the errors or work through the difficulties he was having. Psychologically he downed tools yesterday and in a game against our biggest rivals that is unacceptable. We were effectively playing with ten men yesterday that's how bad he was. Virgil was shooting daggers at him.
  22. If looks could kill. Van Dijk wasn't happy at all and I'd be pissed too having to run back seventy yards because my full back can't play a basic pass into the backline.
