No one was expecting this from Slot at the beginning of the season. My expectation was a fight for the top 4, he's done more than exceed my expectations. A relatively unknown Dutch manager coming into the strongest league in Europe and taken to it like a duck to water.

Now go all out against Newcastle midweek. Smash them to pieces, Anfield will be rocking, tails are up and if we win and Arsenal don't beat Forest, is it over?

Aye, as someone mentioned on here, those seasons where City artificially inflated the points total to win the title have psychologically affected us all. Those draws we've got were considered bad but now it's looking like they are good results. The League it appears is pivoting back to the norm, it's more competitive, there are no easy games with perhaps the exception of the bottom 3. All the teams above the relegation zone currently, Mancs, Everton, West Ham and Wolves have taken points off both us and Arsenal this season.

That's a significant result, we've been getting a few draws recently but it's hard to tell whether those draws are good or bad. Based upon this result, maybe those draws are looking good. People keep forgetting how much more competitive this league has been this season. They now go away to a Forest side who are playing well against the big boys.

These five games in fifteen days is really hurting us at the moment. The fact we're playing midweek then the weekend for three weeks is taking its toll on our squad. The League is tough, very competitive, the fact we're playing three of our toughest away fixtures on the calendar in such a short space of time isn't helping either. Has any other team in the league so far this season played a sequence of games like this other than us? I feel like we got the short straw here as far as how the fixtures have planned out?

Ffs the last ten minutes we totally conceded midfield. That was abysmal, we let Villa players have the freedom to run at our back four and no one in midfield took control. Darwin, I'm sorry you're just not good enough all you had to do was tap it in and blasted it over the bar. We're eight ahead with a game more played into the a***.
