A world class keeper would assess the danger quicker and put himself in a position to make a save. Mingolet is not a world class keeper. At that angle and that far out the only you are being beaten is a high ball. That's the danger a keeper has to cover. Keepers push out to sweep but as soon as they are not getting the ball, it is a question of how quickly they can get in a position to cover the next threat. Plenty of keepers would have let that one in!

Yep. Not my best attempt! Yeah agree with this re revenue as a % . I think all pl clubs should do it especially for season ticket holders / regular match goers. I don't begrudge players getting big money but all clubs should be doing more to support fans.

Markovic is a buy at 20 mill, Luis Alberto @ 8 mill, llanna @ 25 and Benteke @ 32..and there have been a few successes too but overall far more wrong than right. . I d fuvking love to know their criteria.....hopefully klopp is working from within to take down the TC.

I heard on radio last week that the team that finishes 20th in premier league next season will get 91 or 99 million. More than the bundesliga winner. I can't see cash being a problem if we want to spend it!

Based on me pulling figures out of my ass..... Excluding the top 3/4 clubs in each league like La Liga, Serie A etc what kind of wedge would the other clubs first choice keepers be on? I'm guessing 15-30K euros max....we could double their salary and they still only be on £40K sterling a week. There is no way we are giving Mingolet an £80K a week, 5 and a half year contract to a keeper to act as a back up....there would be far better value else where .

Nope Kid Klopp - I would be confident of signing quality young players at the right price with the likes of Klopp or Rafa at the helm. Just not with the way the club transfer policy was over last 4 years, whether it was TC or manager

Whoops - maybe I phrased that wrong! Just mean if he was an outstanding talent we probsbly would have lost out due to competition...

According to wiki we paid £7 million for him. 7 million for a 18/19 old that was not even close to making the fringes of the first team. If he really was an outstanding young talent at 18/19, we probably wouldn't have got him in the first place - he would have went to a better club. So in reality we overpaid by 5 / 6 million I reckon! Another sign of the absolute shambles that our transfer policy has been over last 4 years.
