  1. That's a reach I think. And a wild claim. Sure Chelsea and city are obviously corrupt but Arsenal?
  2. Being snide against the people who can actually fire him with that Diaz comment might be the incentive we've been waiting for. Amorim was safe as houses right up until the moment he moaned about the execs at the club.
  3. I am genuinely wondering at which point I'll be glad for us to lose to accelerate his sacking. I've thought it could happen a couple of times but then I always end up cheering our lost cause anyway and I can't even appreciate the silver lining when it happens.
  4. I reckon you are probably the only one.
  5. Imagine he's pining for a change of management. Must be weird to be working for someone who calls you out like that for no reason.
  6. The past couple of weeks have been mixed with a sense of regret that this couldn't work out and how I'd still be absolutely on board if he could just have us playing like we did against Madrid on a more regular basis, even if there are things about his managerial approach I will always dislike. L Really hard to see myself coming round to that now after the latest round of comments. He is starting to look like a man who will spit venom in any direction to place himself better and I am starting to think his instrumental approach to the team is simply callousness. Which I suppose is something he'd have in common with Hughes. He should be instrumentally fired with alacrity.
  7. This one really rustled my jimmies. Can't remember the last time I've been angry at a Liverpool manager like this. Spiteful and disrespectful to player, predecessor and club. Who does he think he is? I don't think even Hodgson reached this level of spite and condescension.
  8. I am not enamoured of three at the back but the idea that it is somehow innately worse is bobbins. Rafa used it here and there to good effect as well.
  9. This is the kind of fixture that could either be a gimme because they are newly promoted and out of form, or a genuine kick in the teeth because they show up. In theory it could also be the kind of game where we show what we want to be, press and play with intensity and purpose in and out of possession, but that's not a thing anymore. There will be those treating an easily gotten win as if that's what happened.
  10. 3 games is only for violent conduct.
  11. The poor poor manager. Those awful awful players.
  12. With respect, he isn't fit to manage us. At all.
  13. If you take out August/September (where we fluked 5 wins from 6), and extrapolate our 19 games from October onwards to 25 games, we'd be sitting 15th with 30 points.
  14. f***inell.
  15. This is one of those performances that would perhaps look different sandwiched into a good run. But I think the verdict if we were good would still be that we waited 45 minutes before we started played and then stopped playing again 75 minutes as soon as we got a goal. There are signs of coaching in those 30 minutes of playing well, but that is too low a bar to clear. We lost the game in the 60 minutes of no managerial imprint.
  16. Should have kicked him in the chest in an unavoidable collision kind of way instead.
  17. City looked lackluster and yet that is still levels above what we're doing.
  18. I don't get it. We're finally playing a team that isn't parking the bus. At Anfield. The fools have played right into Slot's hands and aren't even playing well. How are we not murdering them with slotball?
  19. This is starting to look like the Etihad fixture. A top team in third gear out playing a lesser team that simply has no gears to switch into to try and change the game.
  20. Lose this and there's daylight between us and the top 5 and we're staring into a situation of probably not having enough to make top 5. Which is mad.
