Mines a No so thats 5673

He'd get along well with the owners then

Any new appointee would have to be offered money - otherwise no top level manager would do it. For the owners to sack Rafa they would have to factor in paying him off and offering more money to his replacement

Please stop giving me hope

I've wanted Pacheco to get a chance for a while now but can't see him starting such a big game unless you have some inside info.

So did Bendtner - like Beckham

It's only because he hasn't played against Liverpool yet

Not disputing the best player bit but you'd think the best player weve ever had could take a half decent f***ing corner

"Voronin eyes more Anfield action" I think that could well be true. I see no reason why he won't be eying more action from the stands.

Yet Capello ignores him

To be fair hes no Diomede

For future reference - organising your thoughts in paragraphs may help

We may or may not finish in the top four this season. It would of course be a major setback if we don't but I don't see how long term we can sustain or expect a regular top 4 position unless the manager is properly backed financially.

I think you must allow us to shed a quiet tear if that new manager were say Allardyce or Bruce

Kuyt has been very poor this season. I'm not having a go because I like Dirk and he has worked his socks off but I thought in the Man U game nothing he tried seem to come off and he was not much better yesterday.

well we are now officially within a crisis

The crisis is over but only because Rafa is a lucky manager -

He does go with Lyons rather Lyon. But i shouldn't open up that whole can of worms. -
I like Tompkins because he backs up what he says with well thought out analysis. Of course its not impartial and he does not pretend it is but that does not mean it is not insightful and thought provoking.

Actually I think thats wrong. Its clear from what some journos write that they do trawl the forums.

I do find it ironic that for years Rafa's critics have rounded on his buying of squad players and not concentrating enough on using the money for top class players for the first team. When he buys a top quality right back he is slaughtered for not having a strong enough squad

Should be played over the pa on Sunday before the match.

That analysis (of the manager) is very difficult though while we have these two clowns owning the club. Blame is difficult to apportion if you don't fully know what goes on behind the scenes and just how far raf has been shafted. The term grotesque chaos springs to mind.
