According to Swedish media aqua's agent has told sportitalia that the loan deal with Juventus is agreed: They will pay his full salary and has an option to buy at 17 million euros.

The Toivonen link is obviously getting a lot of press here in Sweden. Expressen claims today that Toivonen wants to move to Liverpool and that negotiations between the clubs will start later this week.

Swedish tabloid Aftonbladet claims that according to PSV Toivonen is not for sale and that they haven't heard anything from Liverpool, about a bid.

Well he is not a traditional target man, but he is good in the air and scores more headers than Zlatan. He is very skillful and has a real eye for a killer pass. He played behind Ibra against Scotland with great success and they linked up really well. I think he plays more as a striker for PSV.

Toivonen could become a fantastic player and he is alot better than Elmander. I really like him as a player but it is a big step to move to the PL and to play for Liverpool. For the national team (and the U21) he often plays/played just behind the striker (Ibra/Macus Berg), but he can also play as a striker.

Or Sami Khedira. We need a new German destroyer in midfield. Has a lot of speed as well.

Liked the look of Khedira for Germany. Haven't seen him play much before though. A few games in the u21 last Summer. Is he highly rated? Could he be a decent replacement for Masch if he leaves?

I reallyt don't think they will sell Zlatan. A forward three of Villa - Ibra - Messi with Pedro and Bojan as "backups".

Agree with that. The Swedish commentators were all talking about how great Arsenal were in the 2nd half. Sure they really stepped up a bit, but they were so lucky. How many shots on target did they have?

Sad if true. I've always thought he could/should have developed into a very good player.
