This is true. Kompany went to Germany first. Courtois signed then went out on loan for a few seasons. Benteke was signed directly from Belgium and did well but we know how that happened. He could be the exception to the rule but the lads have names then don't make it at the top level generally. Whereas Dahoud is brilliant. Just don't want another young project that we hope pans out.

b******s. You can't anticipate it all to happen at once. Someone to stretch the play is meant to be Origi, otherwise what is he for? And for all the talk of him not being good enough, he certainly looked it when he scored in five on the bounce or when he was playing really well before Funes Mori kicked him into orbit last season. Sturridge has been fit but hasn't been influential. It was predicted because fans always want another and Liverpool fans in particular always want another. You can't base all your decisions around the idea that for a month you'd basically lose Mane, Coutinho, Firmino, Sturridge and Origi. It's simply not viable.

Fed up of hearing this. Unprecedented that Firmino would get exhausted, Coutinho injured while Origi and Sturridge's form fell off the face of the earth. Plus at the start of the season we didn't know we'd lose Ings for the season either. Problem isn't not signing another player, it's Origi and Sturridge being absolute toilet for a month and a half.
