New York Red Posted April 1, 2006 Posted April 1, 2006 And I think his name is Zoltan Gera. he looks an awful lot like him, even more so than Joaquin. I also thought he was excellent today. Well worth a shot at him if West Brom go down.
T@Z Posted April 1, 2006 Posted April 1, 2006 My thoughts exactly. Let add him to the list of right wingers we are going to buy then pull the name out of a hat
alias75 Posted April 1, 2006 Posted April 1, 2006 I mentioned Gera last season as a possible signing, this year hes been injured for most of the season, but everytime ive watched him play ive been impressed. 1. He has very good technique2. He works extremely hard for the team3. He can play wide right / wide left or as an attacking midfielder4. Hes proven himself in the PL5. If WBA get releagted we could get him cheaply Not sure what his injury was but ill be interested to see how he goes until the end of the season, last year he was a player i thought would be an excellent signing.
liverbird04 Posted April 1, 2006 Posted April 1, 2006 gera looked dangerous ,we were linked with him in the press anyway last season was it ?.
DanielS Posted April 1, 2006 Posted April 1, 2006 He's a bright point in a very, very dull side. I'd like to see what he could do in a decent squad. It would also be seriously cool to have a player called Zoltan.
Guest Jack Bauer Posted April 1, 2006 Posted April 1, 2006 He's a good player, thought he'd left WBA before I saw him today.
chrisbonnie Posted April 2, 2006 Posted April 2, 2006 i have to say, when he was on the West Brom bench, i had to look twice to make sure it wasnt Gerrard, funny that and yeah, he`s a quality player, would be a useful squad players alright
Paul B Posted April 2, 2006 Posted April 2, 2006 I like that camara. he's deffo not good enough for us but he's entertaining to watch. I like the other camara too who's better that the other camara but still not good enough for us No, that Camara is better than the other Camara. The other Camara is slightly better than Camara though.
Big E Posted April 2, 2006 Posted April 2, 2006 I'd have him. Great squad option in midfield, he always looks good had has an eye for goal. Would be worth a look if they go down. I'd rather have the 6pts a year from WBA staying up tho.
stressederic Posted April 2, 2006 Posted April 2, 2006 Don't think its any concidence that West Brom stayed up last year when Gera was fit and firing on all cylinders going into the last few months, and that they're likely to get relegated this season because he's been injured.
Big G Superhero Posted April 2, 2006 Posted April 2, 2006 Isn't he also captain of Hungary? No that's Ronaldo
Maldini Posted April 2, 2006 Posted April 2, 2006 Kamara (no not that one) is the best Camara in my opinion
Puskas Posted April 3, 2006 Posted April 3, 2006 Isn't he also captain of Hungary?Yes he is. He's easily the best Hungarian player at the moment. I'd be happy if he arrived, if only because I live in Hungary! I also think he's a quality player who's been badly missed by his team this season, and if we're getting two right sided players in the summer I'd like him to be one of them.
Leo No.8 Posted April 3, 2006 Posted April 3, 2006 If everyone doesn't stop saying Camara, I'm really going to snap. The players of that name don't deserve this kind of exposure, they are all just a flash in the pan. They are only young thought of course, so may still develop...
Runehammer Posted April 3, 2006 Posted April 3, 2006 OK he's a good player but where is Rafa going to play him ? We'll buy a quality right winger in the summer and there'll be even more competition for midfield places. I like him, but lets be realistic, he's not going to improve us is he ? Spot on, he just might improve our squad but I think he's better than just a bit part player and I think it would be a bad move for him in that respect.
