to be clear, if we score 1 goal, and them nothing, it goes to extra time, then penalties. if we score 2, we win....right? right?

If it goes to extra time (1-0 for us) and both we and Benfica score in the extra periods, would it still be decided by away goals? Or would it still go to penalties because Benficas away goal came after regular time?

In that scenario Benfica go through. If Benfica score in extra time we'd need to score twice.

Away goals count double in extra time as well.

 

If it's 1-0 to us and extra time is needed. If Benfica score one then we need to get two.
