Mark Wright has said he will appeal over his dismissal by Peterborough for alleged racist comments made to a club defender.

 

"You've got the body of a white man and the brain of a black man", were the offending words apparently.

 

It follows his verbal attack on a black referee in 2001, where his defence was, "I have no time for the politically correct world. I have a lot of black and Asian friends. The reality is that I was just having a go at a referee. The fact that he was coloured is neither here nor there"
