Dreams about Liverpool

Inspired by CC's dream as detailed in the Kenny thread, share your actual dreams about Liverpool

 

I once dreamt that I played for Liverpool in a European Final but I forgot my boots and had to play in my slippers instead - I kept slipping all over the place and wasn't able to kick the ball very hard. I don't know who won as I was more concerned about my inappropriate footwear.

I had (might still have, who knows) an occasionally recurring dream that I played for Liverpool under Rafa. I was a right-footed left back, didn't get played very often which is why I never get mentioned as one of our players of yesteryear. I never put a foot wrong but I wasn't in the same league as the regulars so no hard feelings on my part. But having made a small handful of appearances during those years, I have the memories to look back on. As a fan it was the greatest feeling imaginable to step out there and play at Anfield. 

 

Edit: in my dream in the Kenny thread I was purely a spectator. but who knows, as a former player, I might have been in some sw@nky VIP seats or something like that.

I’ve had a few Liverpool themed dreams but they featured Jodie Comer rather than any players and are definitely not shareable.

On a football/sleep based theme I'm reminded of a tale of a mate who had a booze fuelled encounter with a lady.

Upon waking the next morning he was somewhat disappointed with himself to realise that in the cold light of day she bore an uncanny resemblance to Sam Allardyce.

Was a mad stadium, all grey concrete with the stands like Tower Blocks with people in flats watching.  Didn’t see the ball really at all until Whelan touched it square and I swept it inside the far post.  Us 1 Mancs 0.

 

Was a good goal though not spectacular- caught it perfect though and no doubt once it left my foot - but the main thing was it was obviously something that had been worked on in training, getting me into that position for the finish, cos the rest of the team were made up.

Think I dreamt them losing like 9 out of 12 games after winning the title and spending hundreds of Millions during the summer.

Felt like an absurd parallel reality to be fair.

I'm having the exact same weird nightmare... At least when I wake up it will all be ok though....right....
