Yeah, im not going to rant on here, mostly because its getting late, but some people need to have a hard look in the mirror and give up with all the knee jerking. 4 days into Dalglish's rein ffs. The players cant have changed that much 4 days ago when it was roys fault.

take off the blinkers lads.

he's barely unpacked his suitcase from a cruise in the Arabian Gulf. He's had a few days to work with the players. Steve Clarke has just walked in the door.

There's bound to be instability at first, a mad team selection here and there. they have to have a good look at how they are working with. You can't just walk in and say to the owners, sell Poulsen, without having a chance to see if there's some scrap of a player waiting to come out.

It takes time, but by god i'd back Kenny over anyone to get us playing again.

Think you are missing the point. Personally, I'm desperate for kenny to do well, bunt wish he hadnt given anyone reason to be disappointed!! Most people know poulsen shouldn't be near the squad let alone team, so to see him play in a midfield also containing kuyt, jova and Lucas was gut-wrenching. You can't be surprised that people are pissed of with that

Nah but being pissed off and being uber critical are completely different. Im just appealing for an air of calm and rational thoughts in what are obvious confusing times for a lot of people.

team selection was odd btw, ill agree with that.

@rjlfc of course.

Worth remembering that we played an hour or so with 10 men just 3 days ago, while Blackpool rested many of their team on Saturday. Meireles didn't look fully fit, Aurelio must have been injured (again) or was too knackered to play. Jovanovic looks like a free transfer who did decently in the Belgian league and Poulsen look like he should have been a free transfer.

Selection was a little odd, but I'd trust Kenny on his reasons for it.

I just think he was using what squad he has available, bearing in mind we played with 10 for an hour last weekend, and we have the bluenoses at the weekend.

I trust the manager and that is enough for me, I don't feel the need to micro-analyse his decisions. The man has us and our club at heart.

Give him time and he'll get it right.

4 days, 4 f***ing days. Maybe Kenny actually wanted to see them on a pitch before binnign them. Maybe he thought given the chance they would be desperate to impress. It cost us 3pts (possibly only 1 really) in a game where our season is f***ed already. I think you are missing the point.

I think what you're asking for there is for everyone to see things from YOUR perspective. It's a fact that it is virtually impossible to view the world through any other filter than your own ( I hate the term this requires, 'one's own' so I don't use it, it's so pretentious). Everyone has their own perspective and that has to be accepted. Anyone requiring things to be seen only through THEIR perspective perhaps displays a lack of understanding of how the myriad numbers of minds out there are designed to work.

I must say it's a relief that we're back to being anti knee jerking again. It was getting very odd in the Hodgson 'era' just how much knees were being permitted to jerk. It was like a daily Cossak dance round here. :D

i think we are already better, at least the players look like they can be arsed playing even if things arnt going well ,under roy they seemed to be just going through the motions.

agree about poulson though, he should nerver wear our shirt again and hopefuly kenny can see that.

Who was knee jerking during the Hodge times? It was universally accepted as s****. Opinion on it seemed pretty straightforward and unwaiveriing to me.

You don't half come out with some s**** sometimes.

How is consistently and repeatedly saying that Hodgson was no way fit to be manager of our club from the day he arrived, knee jerking.

'Once respected poster' David Hodgson strikes again.
