Will Rafa ever win the league? Raise some money for the HJC.

 

Right I know what you are thinking, oh s*** another thread, but f*** it if we are going to get something out of this at least lets give something to the HJC.

 

I don't think we will win the league under Rafa, rather than wait another year, lets get someone else in and consolidate, but anyway It's about time people put their money where their mouth is.

 

£50 says we won't win the league Under Rafa and this will increase by £5 for every season we go buy with him under our regime until we do so.

 

Mr Biscan- £50 says we will not win the league under Rafa + £5 for any additional season we go without until if/he wins it.

I won't vote because you've taken a hugely complicated topic and attempted to simplify it into a 'yes / no' question.

 

Will Rafa win us the league with current levels of financial support from the owners? Probably not.

Will Rafa win us the league if he gets unlimited spend? probably

Will Rafa win the league if he's given financial support on a par with Spurs and Villa? I think he'd have a pretty good chance.

Will Rafa win us the league if the players (many of whom look uninterested at the mo) no longer have faith in him? - no.

Will any other manager win us the league with current levels of financial support from the owners? I'd have no more faith in anyone else than I have in Rafa.

 

I don't blindly support everything that Rafa does, but I just think at the moment we're in a mess for a whole variety of reasons and if a new manager came in, we might have a little bit of a honeymoon period, but the same problems would still be here

Yes it is, but then that's the theme of this thread from the moment the first response to Ant's post came in. Just demonstrating how boringly predictable and crass it is to just sneer at other people's opinions.

Who the fook would change the crap where in at the moment, no money, no team spirit.

IMHO the only two ways out is for us the be given a windfall or Kenny to join Rafa in the

dugout & use the players & reserves better, although I think Rafa's not getting it right

this £50 lure is a load of b******s.

Give me an example and I'll stop doing it (and not from this thread, please). The only thing I 'sneer' at is the pointless bullying or mocking of certain posters on this forum. And yes, that's mainly Ant and Kev.

Ok, still nursing 2 days worth of hang-over so my sense of humour is still in the toilet.

 

Yeah me too. Had to put up with neighbours rowing from 2am, I honestly would not have been surprised to have found one of them dead this morning. The c**** are all sweetness and light today, b******s. I got no sleep amd i want them to have a f***ing miserable day today.

Hope you are not accusing me of bullying or mocking, I was just stating a fact. Kev and Ant are entitled to their opinion and I very much doubt they would hide the fact that they have voted no in this thread. I'm not going to get in an argument with you about this, I made what was intended to be a benign comment and you have taken it and ran. Was going to use the word "context" but thought better of it!!!!

I wasn't singling you out Dom, no. I also don't want to fight. I know Ant and Kev and I like them both, and I'll always react to defend their 'honour' if I think they're being unfairly treated. Admittedly your 'dig' was a pretty mild one, as these things go, and I suppose I was more commenting on the general tone of comments in the thread.

Can you really defend them after the Fairwell thread? I've never seen anything as base as that in my entire time here.

Do I think he will get the chance? I don't know.

 

Do I think anyone would be able to win the league for us as things stand at the moment with the owners and financial restrictions? I doubt it.
