Spiblish Posted April 27, 2009 Posted April 27, 2009 I wonder if H&G can now see what a stupid move appointing him would have been!!!
Andy @ Allerton Posted April 27, 2009 Posted April 27, 2009 The American Owners will be keen to get him installed at Anfield clearly no?
FakeNewsBear Posted April 27, 2009 Posted April 27, 2009 we maybe looking at our new head youth coach
John am Rhein Posted April 27, 2009 Posted April 27, 2009 The Bayern supporters here at work aren't impressed with Jupp Heynckes as replacement. One said he thinks Arsene Wenger (!) would be the best manager for Bayern, although he also thinks Gerard Houllier would be a possibility (!!)
floyd Posted April 27, 2009 Posted April 27, 2009 One said he thinks Arsene Wenger (!) would be the best manager for Bayern,About time Wegner proved himself at a really big club

MFletcher Posted April 27, 2009 Posted April 27, 2009 And to think this clown could have been managing us. How the f*** can you take a Bayern team with Lucio, Lahm, Ribery, Toni, Klose et al to the brink of non-qualification for the European Cup? They should have won the league by now.

How the f*** can you take a Bayern team with Lucio, Lahm, Ribery, Toni, Klose et al to the brink of non-qualification for the European Cup? They should have won the league by now. In fairness to the bloke, they are only 3 points behind the leaders. They're still looking as likely to qualify as not and are far from out of the title race. Yes they've had some awful results, but there's no need to exagerate their position, is there?
MFletcher Posted April 27, 2009 Posted April 27, 2009 And then you look at the players at his disposal, and you realise that they have a far better side than anyone else and should be walking the league.
mally Posted April 27, 2009 Posted April 27, 2009 this is f***ing madness. not even newcastle would sack the manager with 5 games to go in the season when they're only 3 points behind the leaders.

Nebraska Red Posted April 27, 2009 Posted April 27, 2009 I watch almost every game they play and it's a joke to put the blame on Klinsmann for Bayern's poor results. They have 2 keepers who would be out of place at a clown school, defenders who go walk about , midfielders who don't believe in grafting and strikers who are starved of the ball on many occasions. Klinsmann would be hard pressed to know which team is showing up on any given matchday. They can blow away teams with ease one week and then look like jerks the next. Another stupid decision by a group of directors who think it is their god given right to be the masters of German football.

Metro Posted April 27, 2009 Posted April 27, 2009 Wasn't he talking with messrs Hicks and Gillett about taking over from Rafa?
John am Rhein Posted April 27, 2009 Posted April 27, 2009 Another stupid decision by a group of directors who think it is their god given right to be the masters of German football. which is exactly what they are, of course
Gilps Posted April 27, 2009 Posted April 27, 2009 Wasn't he talking with messrs Hicks and Gillett about taking over from Rafa? Was he? Thanks for that scoop, newshound

My thoughts exactly. It's still on for them. Very odd decision at an odd time.
Spiblish Posted April 27, 2009 Author Posted April 27, 2009 Wasn't he talking with messrs Hicks and Gillett about taking over from Rafa?Really , tell me more
stressederic Posted April 27, 2009 Posted April 27, 2009 Mental decision. They're still in contantion for crying outloud! Unless something massive has happened in the dressing room, it just looks like the board have decided to torpedo their season 5 games from the end.
SteveT Posted April 28, 2009 Posted April 28, 2009 which is exactly what they are, of course ..in the face of some really tough competition ...
John am Rhein Posted April 28, 2009 Posted April 28, 2009 ..in the face of some really tough competition ... no, I mean they control all of the decisions Their team is even sh*tter than whoever wins the so-called Meisterschaft - Scheissterschaft would be more accurate. BTW, is the word for penalty shoot-out 'Ausscheissung'? If not then it should be.

Ah, now I agree with you - unless of course Stuttgart and Markus Babbel win it, in which case it will have been an incredible achievement for a former Liverpool hero
