Man City are letting u16s into their upcoming league game with Fulham for £5, theres an ad in the local paper.

I find it hard to sneer at these sort of things tbh. Its putting tickets into the hands of fans who have been priced out of going.

I take it fans who've paid full price before this promotion will get their money back?

Probably not. When they've done one-off discounts before, usually several a season, they haven't refunded ST holders; it's one reason why they've lost so many. IIRC, during my Dad's last season as a ST holder he worked out it would have cost him 20 or 25% less if he'd bought all the tickets separately.

which would be true if blackburn had expensive tickets

i'd put a large bet on them having some of the cheapest tickets in the league

the fans just can't be bothered unless they're doing well

I mean their ground is one of the smallest, and they regularly give massive away allocations, yet still can't sell out.

I had the misfortune of hearing Fat Sam getting interviewed by Jeremy Kyle.

Kyle was fawning over him like a love sick puppy about his managerial credentials and Fat Sam came out with a beauty.

He really believes (and this is not blowing his own trumpet) that he could manage any team in the world and his "style" of management would make any team successful.

I nearly drove my car off the road.

And is he the real father of Wayne Rooney? What did the DNA test reveal?

We need Boro to go down - long been a bogey team for us.

Newcastle going down would be hilarious.

You don't want your local clubs like Blackburn or Bolton or similar going down because they are good local away days.
