i noticed we no longer have men on the posts when we're defending corners.

 

is this a new thing?

is it good?

has it got anything to do with conceding against everton?

have we given up on zonal marking?

Last night I noticed that Yossi was left wing and Babel right wing up the field when they had a corner.

Dont think it does. We've played with only one player on the posts for most of the last few months and it was probably a gradual change to a different system designed by our coaches more than a reaction to losing a goal to Everton.

we are crap at corners. Ours and theirs. Good to know.

 

Perhaps if we man-mark defensive ones and zonal mark the attacking ones, we might improve?

No. Quiet a few teams do it and have done for a couple of seasons. Some teams leave one or none.
