Yossi Benni - get rid quickly, I fail to see the point of his existance

Carra - get him a million miles away from right back

Reina - force him to roll the ball to his nearest defender at least 50% of the time - those long punts are driving me mental

Pace - must we always build an attack like a chess grandmaster, at the start of the second half we really came out punching (so to speak) and then the pace just died again

Keane - get off his back and let him and Torres have some time together... they'll come good as a partnership

anti semitic

Arebeloa should play when fit

Reina's distribution is usually spot on, he needs better movement though, Last season it was better because Torres was on his own and he could run the channels better, and Babel was in the side

Pace - must we always build an attack like a chess grandmaster, at the start of the second half we really came out punching (so to speak) and then the pace just died again
agreed, we need to attack with more pace

Keane - get off his back and let him and Torres have some time together... they'll come good as a partnership

Keane has had enough chances, he can't play on his own, and he can't play with torres, he isn't good enough for us

Who would take him off our hands? and how much would we get for him?

Don't suppose we could arrange a swap with Villa for Barry ?

He's not good enough, but why did he have to make 2 last ditch challenges in the last 10?

Carra - get him a million miles away from right back

Agree 100%

Thought we did well playing direct until it came to the moment where keane should have been involved. How many headers did Torres win for him? and where was he? the moon.

Pace - must we always build an attack like a chess grandmaster, at the start of the second half we really came out punching (so to speak) and then the pace just died again

We need some pace, agreed. Carra and Kuyt must be the slowest flank ever.

Keane - get off his back and let him and Torres have some time together... they'll come good as a partnership

We can't afford to risk him anymore, he can't be trusted to do the job.

Does it matter - I'll employ him to sit on his a*** somewhere as long as he never puts the fecking shirt on again

It's complete folly to write Keane off already. I agree that him and Torres will work well together as a pair if they get some time. He didn't play well last night but Everton defended well, they pressed well all over the pitch and their central defenders played well, in particular Jagielka.

How do you know he can't play with Torres, he's hardly been given the chance with Fernando out injured most of the season.

...and had Torres squared the effort that hit the post Keane would have had an open goal - they just need time to learn how one another play.

I can't wait until Keane goes on one of his scoring runs (I know, nor can you) and everyone has to start eating humble pie.

Robbie Keane last night stank the place out. Mind you, difficult to tell at times due to the fact that you didn't know if he was on the fecking pitch!!!!

How he can have the nerve to question his substitution is beyond me!

The thing is, I don't give a damn about Keane. We can discuss all day whether Keane is going to come good, but at this point, he is helping to derail our best chance of winning the league. Torres and Gerrard were awesome towards the end of last season and that's what I want to see again:

Kuyt Mascherano Alonso Reira

Gerrard

Torres

Well before the season started we were already saying this, that we lack pace & guile to break stubborn teams down

and these were not addressed properly, instead we continue to play kuyt on the right and splash an enormous amount on a player that was not essential to our needs.

nobody thought keane was going to be this bad, and one of the main reasons we've still been good despite him is Dirk Kuyt.

Although i agree about the pace thing

It is hard to find excuses for Keane when he hardly touches the ball the whole game then says f*** off when he is subbed.

I assumed he was telling an Everton player to f*** off. I thought he may have taken some stick from a defender when his number was called. Seems like a fair reaction (if that was the case). He wasn't looking towards the bench when he said it.

On the other hand, we can just assume he was telling the club to f*** off, that sounds better, doesn't it?

A few minutes before he came off he was looking at the bench to see if it was him coming off. A ball was played through to him and he missed it due to glancing at the bench. He was poor last night but Kuyt, Riera and even Torres to be fair could just as easily have come off. At the start of the second half he kept coming back to the half way line to get the ball. It stunk of No-one's finding me so I'll come get it myself.
