Point - fair but I thought we should have gone for the win. Not sure what it looked like on tv but It seemed that we were content for a draw at the end?

Insua was excellant both in defence and attack. Dos should not get anywhere near LB after this performance.

Babel????? - I really can;t believe his attitude. The guy has so much ability and physical presence but he was hopeless. Giving the ball away with silly flicks and no confidence on taking and beating his man. Its no wonder his is not in the team, to much hot and cold. I would sell.......

Reina - 6 nothing much to do

Arbeloa - 7 solid

Carragher - 7 solid (but he and Agger should have dealt with the ball over the top better for the goal)

Agger - 7 solid (as above)

Insua - 8 MOM

Kuyt - 7 this is his position not striker - Good performance

Alonso - 6 could have done more

Gerrard - 6 could have done more

Lucus - 7 plays better with the above than without (worries me though with his fouls)

Reira - 6 still think he could do more in the attacking final 3rd but gives us great shape and kept Sanga back

Keane - 7 - Not going anywhere, justs needs to be patient (Predict a better 2nd half to season)

Babel - 3 very poor

Ngog - 4 not much involvement, should have done better with the chance at the end. Why foul?

El zar - 6 did ok, needs to continue to be braver in the final 3rd and not cautious

Role on Bolton, happy xmas everyone

Still dominated Clichy, he never wanted to leave his position.

He did and he is a threat but the attacking side of his game wasn't as it has been, lots moves broke down when he got involved. He needs to get back to his form of a month or so.

Our best football was just before Adebayor was sent off. We were dominating and pushing forward then we just stopped doing all those good things after the sending off. With Fabregas out and the a*** down to 10 men it should have been them looking to hold on for the point but they kept pressing us and we should have killed them off. We need better quality subs than what we have. Babel and Ngog will not do the job, El Zhar does his best but doesn't get enough time. Someone like The likes of Cisse or even Bellamy would have thrived in this game at the end.

I agree about Cisse and Bellamy being able to thrive in a game like this, but they both see themselves as starters and are for other clubs. I think N'Gog could potentially have made an impact if he was brought on when Babel was, but thats not how it worked out. Kind of depressing how we played them off the park up until the sending off you'd have thought it was us who had just gone down after that.

Our problem today was that we had little threat down the wings. riera was anonymous for most part of the match and kuyt most of the time just passed the ball back. we need wingers with the ability to dribble past their opposing number.

Wenger 0. He is winding up their fans with his constant excuses.

Arsenal fans 0. They are winding up the players with their constant booing, appealing for non-existant fouls and looking to blame the referee for the pathetic conduct and performance of too many of their players.

There is a real malaise at that club that won't be solved until Wenger moves on. They all want reasons to blame rather than trophies.

I thought it looked like we had a plan to try and get Riera on the ball as much as possible, especially in the first half. Arsenal countered this very well and consequently Riera seemed to have 2, 3, 4 players around him everytime he got the ball. Kuyt could've been more succesful down his wing, as he showed a couple of times in the second, but for some reason it just didn't come his way enough... the impression I got anyway.

Babel was poor. I maintain what I said about 3 months ago, if a decent offer arrives in January that allows us to bring in a top player then he should be sold. Attitude is all wrong and his potential is remaining just that,

El Zhar did well when he came on, he has real confidence in his ability. At one point he picked up the ball in the right back position and skinned Nasri before laying it off. He's got a real strength and determination about him which he never had last season and with his pace and skill is offering us what Babel did from the bench last season.

Good performance by Insua, only worry as I said in another thread is the fact that he was up against a poor player being played out of position.

Wenger's attitude since the game has been shocking. t***.

Love the fact that he would have been watching that game though thinking "f*** me, I wish I'd spent that extra couple of million and got Alonso". Alonso bossed that midfield.
