Liverpool Reserves travel to Blackburn Rovers tonight hoping to secure the win that will see them crowned Barclays Premier Reserve League North champions - and you can watch the whole match live on LFC TV from 18:30 GMT.

With Rafael Benitez's first-team squad preparing for their crucial Champions League quarter-final tie at home to Arsenal on Tuesday, Gary Ablett's second-string can get the week off to the perfect start by earning the victory that will see them through to the Reserve League play-off final against the champions of the South Division.

 

The Reds are eight points clear of their nearest rivals, Manchester City, with three games to play and will be hoping to pick up the win required against Rovers to ensure they cannot be caught at the top.

 

The match will take place at Morecambe FC's Christie Park and as usual Liverpool FC's official commentator Steve Hunter will be there alongside Reds legend David Fairclough to guide you through the 90 minutes, while presenter Matt Critchley and former favourite John Durnin will be in the studio to provide match analysis.

 

The show starts at 18:30 GMT with the match set to kick-off at 7pm - so don't miss out on what could prove to be a momentous occasion.

Speaking of LFC TV. Am I the onyl here who can't get audio on the channel at all except for Premier League games when I can only hear crowd noise and not the commentary?

I wouldn't complain - the commentary is invariably hopeless.

Pacheco is skilful and quick but still has a lot of growing to do. Nemeth is great at this level. Insua is physically ready for a chance.

Huth is one who's really come on this season.

 

Looked a bit awkward at the start but has played really well of late.

 

Lot of very good youngsters on the books at the mo.
