I'm coming to New York for my 30th birthday and wedding anniversary satying in the Roosevelt just off 5th avenue in May. For my birthday I was wondering if anyone could recommend a decent jazz club to go to and also decent restaurants in midtown.

 

Any other hints, tips etc are would be much appreciated.
