what would it take to change your mind on the owners

assuming that they want to keep the club, what would it take for you to "forgive and forget", a new contract for rafa? a public apology? a new stadium? backing rafa in the summer? sacking parry?

Or is it past reconciliation now?

A personal email telling me that I was a great fan and that they were going to back the manager and fund the club properly.

Nothing less.

Nothing they could do would make me change my current opinion on them. I despise liars!

Not putting debt on the club, invest serious money in better players, back the manger, but tell him to get an assistant in and get the new stadium going, 70000 capacity at least, and take the back seat not the front seat.

Sticking 300 million of their own money to buy the club would be a start.

Aye, agree with that, along with forgetting the idea it's possible to micro-manage us from over there, putting a competent CEO n complete charge and leaving it be, staying very low profile. Not sure the dishonesty could ever be overcome though, at best it would be neutral, or that any of that will ever happen

You're getting married. Your proposed partner promises that she'll give you a brand new mansion to live in, she promises loads of money to spend on as many lampstands and as much top quality living room furniture as you could ever dream of, she promises to pay off your personal debt. You marry her, she pays off some of teh debt but runs even more debt up in her own private financial dealings and then saddles the debt on you, she moves in to your two bedroom terrace and announces that she can't afford the new house she'd promised, she buys you a new set of furniture but pays for it by selling off all of your stuff and she then starts seeing a German diving champion behind your back. Would you forgive her?

I really don't understand this one from rafa, I really hope that he is looking at bringing in a top assistant manager in the summer, ferguson stuggled without an assistant, avram grant got an assistant straight away

Rafa should probably ask macclaren to be his assistant until the summer when he can get his first choice

Actually sticking 30p of their own money in would be an improvement at the moment.

It was mentioned many times on here that Rafa wanted Sammy Lee and Frank McParland back at the club but the owners knocked him back. Anyone know if this was legit.

I am confused about what to think but I think people are not understanding the yanks situation. The club already has debts whether its loans or owe transfer fees or bonuses etc. They are just trying to put it into 1 bigger loan over longer to make payments less than they currently are. Its like you paying off a car loan when you remortgage, we have all done it. A lot of business is run this way.

A year ago the yanks were in totally a different financial situation. The dollar is weak, loans more expensive so they have had to change their strategy. I hope who ever owns the club keeps looking at ways to keep cas in the club. ARE THEY RIGHT in this case? I dont know!!

I am annoyed and embarrassed about them conducting business in public as well as the Klinsman crap but should we be that far behind the leaders and draw so many games due to refinancing the club.

I dont know!! My head is spinning past my sinking heart but remember at the end of the storm............

Nah mate, you've missed out the important part. When Moores owned the club, along with other shareholders there was a small amount of debt but not hundreds of millions. They are trying to make the club service a loan for the new stadium AND the £300 million it cost them to buy the club.

The point is if G+H put up the 300 million themselves the club would owe them for building a team and a ground. They intended to take the loan repayment themselves ie 30 million a year for 15 years to pay back 300 million. They are investing in the club to gain a profit. This is not Jack Walker or the Russian. Due to the global market they no longer want to finance it themselves so are spreading the risk else where. Regardless the club would pay back G+H or a bank
