Its the first time i have been to that part of the world. Can anyone suggest where to park and which pubs to go to?

Boozer wise The Fernhurst right near the away end is all you need to know.

There are a few makeshift car parks on the road towards the stadium. They are cheap too.

A few hundred reds usually go into the Fernhurst for a drink

About 2000 reds take cans and drink in the Fernhurst car park!!

Just watch out for footballs!

either that or four thousand aside football in the car park! cant wait I will take some beers as well. i will share the driving, make sure i drive there, and get driven back

Whatever you do just make sure that when you leave the ground and start driving back DONT try to leave Blackburn on anything other than the southern side - Junction 4 of the M65.

 

WARNING: The town bonfire and fireworks display is scheduled for 7.30 on Saturday at Witton Park, which is close to Ewood. Even without football traffic it can become gridlocked in the area on the evening of the bonfire so be warned and don't be tempted to use Junction 3 of the M65.

appraoching from the south there is a left turn immedaiately before the Fernhurst that leads up a newish housing estate - I parked on there last time I went. Plenty of space, only downside was queueing to get out afterwards.
