Clattenburg's one of the better referees, isn't he? He's the only one I can think of that doesn't instantly have me mouthing the word tosser anyhow.

Jeff Winter was interviewed on sky sports about this and the worrying precedent that it sets

 

Sky gave him a few contraversial decisions to discuss and explain from the refs perespective, including the Obi Mikel sending off and Reading's 1st goal.

 

Winter concluded that the officials were spot on in every single decision they made. It was almost comical.

 

Even the reading goal he said, the goal shouldn't have stood however the lino made a good decision because he can't see if they are interfering with play.

Just a shame Alonso is injured since we avoided Bennett, I think Bennett hates Alonso for some strange reason.

 

At least it looks like that when he is a referee and Xabi is playing.
