abc Posted September 23, 2007 Posted September 23, 2007 What a sensationalist (read knee jerker)... On the other hand, I like Marcel Desailly...good analysis, and came across as unbiased as can be having been a former Chelsea player. Hansen was embarassing to put it mildly...

Disagree, Desailly is so arrogant. Like the majority of the BBC team, he talks rubbish too. It's a shame that they bring in the "A Team" for the big games on MOTD2, when the normal gang on MOTD2 are far superior to the main gang.
Molby Posted September 23, 2007 Posted September 23, 2007 lol at Desailly he's stupendously f***ed out of his head on charlie love watching him

eth Posted September 23, 2007 Posted September 23, 2007 What a sensationalist (read knee jerker)... On the other hand, I like Marcel Desailly...good analysis, and came across as unbiased as can be having been a former Chelsea player. Hansen was embarassing to put it mildly...Hansen was actually trying to make a point, and Desailly was replying with the sort of nonsense managers come out with when they want to say nothing: 'Just one game, whole season to go', 'It's a difficult situation to come into'. What use is a pundit who can never say anything negative (at least about one team)? Hansen is bad, but its a stretch to call any of the rest of them on MOTD/MOTD2 pundits. They're more like window dressing.
Herbie von Smalls Posted September 23, 2007 Posted September 23, 2007 given chelsea's squad hansen may have been a bit quick off the mark about the extent of their disarray (time will tell), but desailly was ridiculously unrealistic about his former club. i thought hansen was right about desailly being a mouthpiece, but as usual he was cringeingly unfunny trying to reinforce his point.
mally Posted September 24, 2007 Posted September 24, 2007 Desailly said absolutely nothing of worth but talked like he was really excited
Ostrich Man Posted September 24, 2007 Posted September 24, 2007 Hansen should really know better than to write off teams this early, but at least he give some leeway.
Herbie von Smalls Posted September 24, 2007 Posted September 24, 2007 desailly's great. truly great.not when he's asked about chelsea's prospects.
Stevie H Posted September 24, 2007 Posted September 24, 2007 not when he's asked about chelsea's prospects.i didn't see motd2. what'd he say?
Herbie von Smalls Posted September 24, 2007 Posted September 24, 2007 i didn't see motd2. what'd he say?he was underplaying the effect of mourinho's departure on the team. it was like he'd been briefed by peter kenyon. shame, because he's one of the better pundits on tv.
Duncan Disorderly Posted September 24, 2007 Posted September 24, 2007 Unlike Hansen, who likes to hear himself talk.

Stevie H Posted September 24, 2007 Posted September 24, 2007 Unlike Hansen, who likes to hear himself talk.hansen trots out the same s*** pretty much every week though. boring.
