need help with research

we want to compile a list of every public body that is represented in Liverpool - where the task is to break down large agencies in to smaller ones

 

eg The City Council - has hundreds od departments and we would need to approach each department individually. So we would need a complete list and contact details

 

and that's just the council - probably the biggest umbrella organisation but there are others. Health, education etc and all the various subsectors

 

 

can anyone suggest anything? this kind of thing is not my forte
