I dont agree with that. He was very impressive last season and even though he's pusing on in years i'd still rate much higher than either kewell or pennant. In those five years neither kewell nor pennant has played better than him throughout the season.

giggs has been f***ing outstanding throughout pretty much his entire career and anyone who says that he's been anything less than excellent over the last 5 years or so as he's re-modelled his game to match his age is talking out of their a*se.

Giggs was excellent last year and, along with Scholes, is one of the top ten players to play in the premiership. Liverpool havn't had a left or right sided midfielder (I don't count Gerrard as one before anyone wades in) that comes close to him in the last 15 years.
