Someone I know has just come in and asked me if I've heard any rumours about our new chief scout? He said he knows him but he can't tell me who it is yet as the contract isn't signed yet.

 

Anyone heard anything? Just wondering if he's on a wind up. :hooked:

I'd agree but if this is true then I'd want this fella to get the job so my chances of tickets would increase! ;)

Valencia have been after him as a replacement for Carboni, whose days look numbered....Rafa doesn't want to lose him and has asked the club to offer him a new contract....

wasn't it cos of Carboni that Macia left and came 'ere. Cos he was basically overlooked in favour of a recently retired player with no experience? Or maybe I made that up, who knows :P

 

Apparently Carboni is a bit of a twunt, don't think he gets on to well with Sanchez Flores either.

How many scouts do you think Rafa has f***ed off that have suggested signings to him?

 

It was interesting to read that Mcparland was saying Agger was his proudest signing.

Been told this morning that he's now not signing for us and is going to West Ham as they've offered him more money! :playercontract:

He used to work with Curbishley at Charlton as well so that may have swayed him....

 

I'm gutted, my chance of tickets and info gone :(
