Got in around 1am this morning after leaving Athens at about 3pm on Thursday (UK time) after an interesting 15 hour journey to Sofia, a 6 hour wait for the plane and then a seven hour wait for the train to Liverpool followed by a cab drive home - was really trains planes and automobiles.

Had a great time - pity to see that there was trouble and witnessed a few bits and bobs of bellends barging their way past stewards and police at the ground - but on the whole was very good natured and given the thousands there was only a small number of bellends that let us down.

I hope everyone I saw over there (And those I didn't!) all got home safe and sound

I'm still in a wibbly wobbly world of my own at present after not too much sleep for 5 or 6 days - but was a good laugh getting down there with Wayne and his mate and seeing everyone.

Not sure I'll be going on any more 15-16 hour train journies in future though! :P

Glad to hear the 3 of you got home safely, after what sounds like a horrendous journey. Me & Boca got back home Thursday lunchtime.

We had a ball both Tuesday & Wednesday in the Square. A nicer bunch we could not have fell in with on both days, most from this site and the drinking and singing was magnificent. A couple of the best days away I've ever had.....the result was disappointing to put it mildly, but the memories from the 2 days will live long (although I'm trying hard to erase the memory of Will's hat).

Agreed with all of that Dorgie. It was good to meet you and Boca and a great time was had by all. I know others had bad experiences, but I can't say that I saw too much of it, apart from Will and his black curly wig and Anny Road with his top off.

Always a bonus, but I still felt happier after Barcelona than at Athens.

"Go on - Have another beer"

 (my constitution couldn't handle another beer until you lot forced it into my unwilling hand)

I'm glad I had enough sense (or enough beer !) to make the move from the square when I did, 'cos another half hour and I think we'd have been locked out of the ground too.
