Here's the solution to the massive ticketing fiasco.

 

Step 1

The Club Hires 4 Massive Cinema Screens

 

Step 2

They errect the screens at Anfield, One facing each stand.

 

Step 3

They distribute the tickets, firstly to season ticket holders, then to first come first served.

 

 

And thats it, 44,000 extra liverpool fans get to watch the final at Anfield.

Trust me this thing will work. When I lived in Dublin Ireland qualified for the World cup that was played in the USA. The sold out stadiums across the country with huge screens showing the game. The atmosphere was f***ing magic.

 

Someone should throw this idea at the club. It would take a phone call to organise. I'm going to look for the new owners email addresses and fire the ideas to them.

 

Please all join in fowarding the Idea to anyone you can.

Great idea but with one major flaw; there's no policing operation to cover the event. The usual season policing arrangements are sorted out way in advance and can't see the law calling all hands in for one night, it's a massive drain on the resources.

That was my initial thought, but then when we win it there will be half a million people on the streets of liverpool again on thursday and they will all need policing.

In Dublin they used dalymount once at the begining, then they moved it to the RDS.

Thats in Dublin, I've no idea where the culchies did it.

I suggested this yesterday in the thread about Tom Hicks free 'watching party' in Dallas.

 

Maybe its too late to do such a thing but I think they could've scored a major PR coup by doing something.

 

Better still charge a fiver a head in and give the money to local charities.
