Guest Greasy Belcher Posted May 17, 2007 Posted May 17, 2007 Hi, Here's the solution to the massive ticketing fiasco. Step 1The Club Hires 4 Massive Cinema Screens Step 2They errect the screens at Anfield, One facing each stand. Step 3They distribute the tickets, firstly to season ticket holders, then to first come first served. And thats it, 44,000 extra liverpool fans get to watch the final at Anfield. PLEASE FORWARD THIS IDEA TO ANYONE YOU KNOW WITH CONTACTS IN THE CLUBtime is running out. Regards Greasy Belcher myspace.com/greasybelcher
Guest Greasy Belcher Posted May 17, 2007 Posted May 17, 2007 Trust me this thing will work. When I lived in Dublin Ireland qualified for the World cup that was played in the USA. The sold out stadiums across the country with huge screens showing the game. The atmosphere was f***ing magic. Someone should throw this idea at the club. It would take a phone call to organise. I'm going to look for the new owners email addresses and fire the ideas to them. Please all join in fowarding the Idea to anyone you can. IF ANYONE HERE IS A MEMBER OF RAWK / KOPTALK ETC THEY NEED TO GET OVER AND POST A THEAD WITH THIS IDEA NOW. COME ON!!!!!!!
sutty Posted May 17, 2007 Posted May 17, 2007 (edited) Probably too late to do it. And the club have creamed off tickets so all the employees are at the match c**** like snorky Edited May 17, 2007 by sutty
theredfella Posted May 17, 2007 Posted May 17, 2007 Great idea but with one major flaw; there's no policing operation to cover the event. The usual season policing arrangements are sorted out way in advance and can't see the law calling all hands in for one night, it's a massive drain on the resources.
JohnnyH Posted May 17, 2007 Posted May 17, 2007 I bet koptalk has already thought of it. They're always first.

cymrococh Posted May 17, 2007 Posted May 17, 2007 What happens if you´re sat behind the screens? The same as if you're sat in front of them, except you can't see it.

That was my initial thought, but then when we win it there will be half a million people on the streets of liverpool again on thursday and they will all need policing. Probably a bit late now though.

Romario Posted May 17, 2007 Posted May 17, 2007 Virtual football. It's the way of the future. Big clubs could have a stadium in every major city with screens on the pitches.
Guest Greasy Belcher Posted May 17, 2007 Posted May 17, 2007 Its lot late at all you F***ing lunatics. One phone call from Rick Parry to a screen hire company. They take about a day to errect. Then announce who qualifies. As for police / security there would be a reduced need for police because there wont be any away supporters to clash with. are you seriously telling me there's not a security firm in england who could organise maybe 800 guys for the night?

ManxRed Posted May 17, 2007 Posted May 17, 2007 Will we still be able to buy half and half scarves? I'm not going unless we can.
Guest Greasy Belcher Posted May 17, 2007 Posted May 17, 2007 Did they? What stadiums were used? In Dublin they used dalymount once at the begining, then they moved it to the RDS.Thats in Dublin, I've no idea where the culchies did it. ps. if you ever question my integrity again I'll break into your house and eat your fish tank with no trousers on.

Yeah because 40,000 p*ssed up loons bouncing round the area will all be angels The law aren't just there to stop the away lads having a go, it's our lot too.

Dublinred4ever Posted May 17, 2007 Posted May 17, 2007 I suggested this yesterday in the thread about Tom Hicks free 'watching party' in Dallas. Maybe its too late to do such a thing but I think they could've scored a major PR coup by doing something. Better still charge a fiver a head in and give the money to local charities.
