Liverpool have again proved to be the team that the rest of the Premiership want to see.

A total of 7 Premiership teams had their highest attendance of the season with Liverpool as the visitors.

Next is Man United with 5, West Ham 3 with Sheffield United and Charlton Athletic on 2 each.

Reckon that the relegation stuff and those teams tacking a large away following at the end of the season probably accounts for it

Charlton's at West Ham and Middlesbrough.

West Ham was a grudge match and at Middlesbrough the club payed for their travel.

Sheffield United was at Charlton and Aston Villa. However, they were joint top with other teams.

Aston Villa - 42,551 v Liverpool, Man United, Sheffield United & Tottenham.

Charlton - 27,111 v Chelsea, Liverpool, Sheffield United & WHU.

The Highest Attendance was 76,098 - Man United v Blackburn Rovers.

The Lowest was 14,636 - Wigan v Reading.

Kev, maybe it isn't?

Watfords own site claims 16,461 which for a midweek game between a bottom team and a team who barely take fans to their own ground is not really believable.

Pretty sure it is that game though.

Did the Mancs have cut allocations at some of their aways this season due to persistent standing?

We've been threatened with the same by several clubs.
