This has been an ongoing thing with me and the usual suspects I go the match with... there's a thread about it on RAOTL... but here's a few snippets of how it all started.

The main thing is that there's a few of us growing muzzies for the final.

Think back to Liverpool's great success in Europe and it goes hand in hand with good muzzies.

And now, in 2007, with Cisse off on loan, Dudek gone s****, Carson out on loan and even the potential of Luis Garcia's bum fluff on the sidelines due to injury we will be entering the arena without ANY players sporting facial hair.

As such it's down to US the fans. We influenced the final last time with the unbelievable support at half time when everyone else thought we were down and out. Now we must continue again and do our bit.

That means growing a muzzie... history has shown how closely linked to our success a muzzie is so YOU TEAM NEEDS YOU!!

Don't worry about the missus - soon enough Scousers everywhere will be sporting muzzies and she'll realise what a trend-setting, suave and sophisticated fella she's got.

Don't worry about the gaffer ? soon enough he'll realise that muzzies are linked with success and swift promotions will follow as the stature of having a muzzie means you immediately command respect in any business environment.

Don?t worry about your mates ? If they are Reds they will no doubt be growing muzzies themselves. If they are Blues? well? what would they know about European Culture, success, style and taste? Nuff said, no backchat!!

Don?t worry if yer can?t grow a muzzie ? Buy the Sunday mirror this weekend and on the back page there will be an advert with Shane Warne or Graham Gooch or someone about treatment to encourage hair growth. I?m sure that will work on your top lip as well as your shiny bonce.

Good luck people? and remember? your team needs your muzzie!!
