Homesick Everton striker Andy Johnson is reportedly looking for a shock move to a London club.

 

The England international joined the Toffees from Crystal Palace last summer for £8.6million and has so far hit 11 goals this season.

 

However, despite becoming one of Everton's most integral players as they continue their drive for European qualification, Johnson has told friends he can't settle in Merseyside, according to the Daily Express.

 

The development has shocked the Goodison Park club and they'll only allow him to leave for a figure of no less than £12million.

 

West Ham are just one club rumoured to be interested but with relegation looming it's highly unlikely he'll make the switch to Upton Park.

Johnson reveals love for Everton

 

Johnson joined Everton in May 2006 for £8.6m

Everton striker Andy Johnson has spoken of his love for the club - and rubbished reports suggesting that he wants to leave Goodison.

"If I could sign here for the rest of my career I would do it tomorrow," said the 26-year-old striker.

 

"I am more than happy here, I love the club, the fans and the lads in the dressing room.

 

"I want to make it clear there is no truth in reports that I want to leave. I am loving being an Everton player."

 

Johnson cost £8.6m when he signed from Crystal Palace in May 2006.

 

The England forward has scored 10 goals in 26 starts in his first season at the club.

 

And he added: "I regard it as a great honour to put that blue shirt on every week. I would love to think I will still be here in seven years."
