FA alerted to Man City incident

 

Hampshire Police plan to inform the Football Association of an alleged incident involving a unnamed Manchester City player on Saturday.

 

It is said to have occurred at the end of the match against Portsmouth at Fratton Park, which City lost 2-1.

 

Police have stressed they are not launching an investigation, but will be liaising with the FA after being alerted by one of their officers.

 

City went down to a late Kanu goal that leaves them 16th in the Premiership.
