LondonLiverpoolFan Posted January 11, 2007 Posted January 11, 2007 Who's going and are we meeting anywhere in particular? What was the name of that pub we went in for the League cup semi back in 2005?
jon_hall Posted January 11, 2007 Posted January 11, 2007 I'm going. No idea where. Not drinking so you can pick the pub with the worst beer all i care.
Ramón Benítez Hernández Posted January 11, 2007 Posted January 11, 2007 Pig & Whistle on Eagle Street.
Will Posted January 11, 2007 Posted January 11, 2007 Estcourt ArmsI have no recollection now if that was where we went last time - but it sounds like a reasonable shout; nice and near Watford Junction and sounds alright Bear in mind there is an Estcourt Tavern elsewhere in Watford... Guess I'll be getting there approx midday - hopefully see Raj, Ant, Mike and Marjo there too....
Raj Posted January 11, 2007 Posted January 11, 2007 I will be there. Whatever pub everyone recommends is good by me.I will be at the pub at 10.55am sharp.
jon_hall Posted January 11, 2007 Posted January 11, 2007 Where is this pub then? I need to collect my ticket somewhere.

Raj Posted January 11, 2007 Posted January 11, 2007 1055 That's fecking early Frankly, I thought that was the sensible option.
LondonLiverpoolFan Posted January 11, 2007 Author Posted January 11, 2007 Well the game kicks off at 12:45pm so it'll have to be a swift pint if you don't get there until mid-day!
Will Posted January 11, 2007 Posted January 11, 2007 Well the game kicks off at 12:45pm so it'll have to be a swift pint if you don't get there until mid-day!Oh feck - had forgotten that!!!! 11 it is then

Tetti Posted January 11, 2007 Posted January 11, 2007 Watford junction to the ground is quite a walk. I may pop into my local ( which I have only been in once before) then hop on the train to WATFORD HIGH STREET. It may be only a s***ty Weatherspoons but you won't have to battle through the Sat morning crowds in Watford. PM me if you want to meet there. I can provide safe local parking too.
anny road Posted January 11, 2007 Posted January 11, 2007 I'm dragging my sober a*** to the game. how u getting there...Claireski going?

Ayline Posted January 11, 2007 Posted January 11, 2007 hopefully see Raj, Ant, Mike and Marjo there too.... I will be there.
Tetti Posted January 12, 2007 Posted January 12, 2007 As I don't fancy the 20 minute plus walk from Watford junction to Vicarage road, I will meet up with myself near my house, get the train to Watford High street and stroll for 10 mins from there instead.

I thought you said you needed some exercise?
Stevie H Posted January 12, 2007 Posted January 12, 2007 the estcourt arms is a decent pub. the estcourt tavern is not and is rough as owt.

Is Watford tube station any closer to the ground?
