Cisse said: "It still isn't the Djibril that we all know, but it's satisfying."

WTF? Has Cisse caught a bout of Jardel-itis or something?

To come back so quickly from such bad injuries may suggest he is strong - BUT, he's now broken his leg 3 times hasn't he? Like there is a weakness there, surely you can't just be so unlucky with breaks. Anyway, I wish him well for the season and hope he stays injury free now and scores a lot of goals.

I hope he plays brilliantly so we can sell him for a fortune

isnt it two.. i think you are stronger after you have a broken leg.. atleast thats what i was told

I thought he broke his ankle when he was at Auxerre, but I may be wrong there!

I'm happy for Cisse. He has shown tremendous spirit to fight back from two horrendous injuries.

On a financial note, it's a sad irony that when we really needed the money from his sale (to buy Alves instead of Pennant, presumably) he got injured. Now that we can hopefully look forward to a fee for Djibril, it may soon look like small change to the men in charge.

and the fact that he wasnt very good.

good luck to the bloke. it wasnt his fault we paid the money that we did.

still scored 19 goals for us last season and scored in the fa cup final

Did anyone see the episode of pimp my ride international on Saturday? Cisse is a loon! He had a beat up old Dodge Van and they turned it into an A-team look alike van for him. You can see it Here on YouTube

wot! no 'is it time to recall him?' calls?

i reckon marseille may well have provisionally agreed a fee if they decide to keep him when his loan period expires.

wasn't there talk of £8m at one stage?

anyway. good to see he's recovered. i hope that's his last major injury.

he always talked a good game for us, unfortunately (his 19 goals last season notwithstanding) he failed to match the words with his workrate and temperament on the pitch. one lazy fecker at tracking back and how annoying were those moments when he stopped running to throw his arms out in disgust and frustration at a bad ball. not a Rafa player.
