I know I tend to moan about Refs all the time - but this season we really really don't seem to have got any kind of the rub of the green.

No doubt some will point to the Penalty given against Sheffield United (Which I'm still not sure about) - but even in that game - the clear pen on Riise (When he then got taken off) evened that one out straight away.

We've had so many awful decisions against us - and people say they even out - but this small way into the season - we're already onto quite a few things that we need to 'go our way' to even.

Even yesterday - the disgraceful way Sissoko was targetted by the ref - everytime he made a (legitimate) tackle he was 'spoken to' - then he was booked for nothing - everytime we seemed to be getting somewhere the whistle went - weirdly in many cases and the booking for crouch (where he didn't even touch Van Der Sar) summed the day up.

Then you've got several other obvious fouls that we didn't get - that led to goals - plus the linesmen decisions being atrocious for us this season - caught off several times when we weren't - the opposition being off and the linesmen playing on - the cynical fouls against us which don't even get a mention and then the linesman giving the 'outside the area' thing against Reina.

It might all be just honest mistakes from decent people that got it wrong.

But when they are beginning to mount up so seriously so early in the season - then that's a hell of a lot of honest mistakes to take account of.

And we're not even into November yet.

i thought Poll had one of his better games yesterday.

We've had key decisions go against us at Everton, Bolton & Chelsea but the ref was no impact on yesterday's result.

We've had many, many poor offside calls, especially with Bellamy.

That said, if someone had gone in on Pepe the way Crouch went for the time wasting lanky dutch pr1ck I would have been screaming for a card.

I disagree - I thought the way the ref targetted Sissoko from his first tackle - leading up to the yellow card meant that he had effectively nobbled our best player.

Each time he got a talking to (Even when Poll hadn't given any free kick) seemed to deflate Sissoko's confidence until in the end he seemed scared to make a tackle.

Sissoko is a marked man by refs these days. That first legit challenge he was pulled up for a talking to was a disgrace.

Poll didn't have his worst game yesterday, but he & the other high profile refs just wait for Sissoko to put a tackle in & they're on him from high.

If Savage got the Momo treatment from Clattenburg the previous week he'd have been gone early, as with Neil same game, & half the Bolton team at that game.

I thought that the ball was there to be won

and I know that Crouch didn't make any contact whatsoever on Van Der Sar.

and the other outfield players excuse was what?

Not saying we would have won the game anyway - but with the decisions going against you seemingly every game - it's not going to exactly improve your position or 'luck' or whatever is it?

he caught him, just.

Van der Saar made a meal of it and with all the hype that surrounded that challenge on Cech last week a booking was inevitable.

Still didn't contribute to the defeat.

He didn't catch him at all - the slow motion replays showed clearly there was no contact whatsoever.

Aldo had a right go at him on the radio.

then they should 'man up'

With the decisions we are getting if they "man up" then they will be "sent off"

i mean, they should just get on with it. You get schitty ref decisions from time to time, even 'runs' of bad decisions you have to get on with it.

If you note - then I think you'll find out of all the teams in the league - we rarely - if ever - dispute the decisions against us - except the ridiculous ones - and there were plenty yesterday - we kept quiet - but the one of the edge of the area was so not a free kick even Carra was miffed - this non foul again could have led to a goal - and how many dubious decisions did we get to their several yesterday - none.

You'd expect that with so many prawn munchers about - but even in other games this has been the same story all season.

And I'd like to know why personally

its total b****x

we have been s***

end of

We have not been s***.

We could have got something out of every game this season so far.

Despite the refs.

But they aint helping

Referees's decisions increasingly influenced the game and result, you noticed the losing side always have player sent off or penalty decision against.

Momo has been targetted and still is. I'm sure he was booked after only his second foul yesterday.

what about f***ing Ferdinand in the first five minutes tripping on his own feet and losing the ball whilst Kuyt was ight next to him... Kuyt would have been in on goal but the ref blew the whistle obviously ruling out the fact Ferdinand wouldn't be daft enough to trip over his top lip the way he did.

THis time last year we'd had an oppo player sent off in pretty much every game almost. We seem to have swapped that stat with hitting the woodwork this year.

Forgot all about this. Then there was the 'foul' by Momo when he clearly got the ball. Poll is a t*** but we are worse at the moment.

the Ferdinand incident set the game for me.... I knew it was going to be a f*****.. if Kuyt had converted that chance which he rightly had to take then its game on...
