madaboutlfc Posted May 25, 2006 Posted May 25, 2006 Brain. People can have heart transplants.should have answered your question
Guest bluehouse Posted May 25, 2006 Posted May 25, 2006 Which leg do you want to lose, left or right? If I had to loose one it would be left, as I am right footed. Edited to add a poll to make it more juicy. Thanks I had no idea how to do that.
Fagan Posted May 25, 2006 Posted May 25, 2006 without rafa we wouldnt have gerrard, so clearly rafa is more important, cause without gerrard we;d still have rafa. but on a clearer point, rafa is clearly more important. he decides how we play and he gets the best out of stevie. without rafa, we might have a manager who plays a rubbish system and does not harness stevies talents in the proper manner and therefore the effect of steven gerrard is nullified ergo........ Rafa rafa benitez, rafa rafa benitez, more important than gerrardalonso or tores...(who knows)
Guz Posted May 25, 2006 Posted May 25, 2006 whats more important your brain or your heart The heart can beat on its own, cut off the blood supply to the brain and you're dead
Rimbeux Posted May 25, 2006 Posted May 25, 2006 without Steven Gerrard we would not have won the european cup and the FA Cup. just to be different Aye, and sans the boss we'd not have got into the last 8
Guest bluehouse Posted May 26, 2006 Posted May 26, 2006 This is a topic from that other site. Its intresting the vast difference in gap between the sites. The other has it much closer. |To me that speaks volumes for members on either site.
Gomez Posted May 26, 2006 Posted May 26, 2006 The manager is always more important, be it Rafa or Evans. The manager builds a team, Gerrard is just one player, albeit a very good one. If the manager is crap, it doesn't matter how many Steven Gerrards you have, you'll win jack.
Benitez Posted May 26, 2006 Posted May 26, 2006 (edited) can't believe anyone voted for a player being more important to this club than the boss Now if Gerrard was unfortunate enough to play for Everton or any other mid table and below crud, then fairynuff, maybe there would be a point to this poll. But then if they where mid table crud - that'd just prove that one player can't do it all Edited May 26, 2006 by Benitez
psl Posted May 26, 2006 Posted May 26, 2006 Just to play devil's advocate, if you asked every top club across Europe whether they'd rather have Rafa or Stevie, I reckon more would say Stevie.
Benitez Posted May 26, 2006 Posted May 26, 2006 Just to play devil's advocate, if you asked every top club across Europe whether they'd rather have Rafa or Stevie, I reckon more would say Stevie. Top clubs like Milan, Juve, Barca - they have good managers, so of course they'd love another top player. You can have more than one of them! Be like asking us if we'd prefer Etoo or Spitter Riijkaard. We'd say Etoo. But teams without great managers would probably go for Riikjaard. Ask Real Madrid who they'd prefer.
Case Posted May 26, 2006 Posted May 26, 2006 What would I prefer.. To be reading this inane thread or wiring myself up to the mains.
flash Posted May 26, 2006 Posted May 26, 2006 As Captain stevie play a very important role, i'm glad we have both!
jimmylibel Posted May 26, 2006 Posted May 26, 2006 without rafa we wouldnt have gerrard, Or Xabi, or Momo, or Reina etc...
Benitez Posted May 26, 2006 Posted May 26, 2006 the idiots who voted for one player being more important to the club than the manager, need to have a fecin word with themselves. without Steven Gerrard we would not have won the european cup and the FA Cup. just to be different and without Luis Garcia we wouldn't have been in either final, so therefore Luis Garcia is clearly more important than both of them, end of argument
_00_deathscar Posted May 26, 2006 Posted May 26, 2006 And without Everton's bustup with Anfield in 1892.... Therefore
