Maldini Posted May 14, 2006 Posted May 14, 2006 (edited) Haven't seen this mentioned on here, but did anyone see Cisse's reaction when he looked at the medal? He opened it up and looked horrified, said something to Hyypia along the lines of "Is this it? Pretty sh*t!" and looked like a bulldog chewing a wasp. I was in fits laughing at him. He's a strange lad is Djibril Edited May 14, 2006 by Maldini
mercury Posted May 14, 2006 Posted May 14, 2006 Yup saw it and had a bit of a laugh as well. a funny, flashy guy our Cisse is.
Guest RedLegend Posted May 14, 2006 Posted May 14, 2006 Probably wasn't encrusted with enough diamonds and rubies for Cisse's liking.
Nebraska Red Posted May 14, 2006 Posted May 14, 2006 probably comparing it to the CL gong they got last year.
Beardsley Posted May 14, 2006 Posted May 14, 2006 I thought he had lost his medal, or something. He looked really pi**ed.
Benitez Posted May 14, 2006 Posted May 14, 2006 Cisse is a complete loon, makes me laugh he does. That medal thing was well funny, you'd have thought he'd opened up the box and seen a turd in it, the way he looked. Them fecin boots yesterday as well, what on earth was he doing
Dublinred4ever Posted May 14, 2006 Posted May 14, 2006 Can you imagine how Shanks would have reacted to a player who started the game wearing odd colured boots then changed them to a pair of high vis vest style flourescent yellow ones at half time. He would've hammered him! Saying that I thought he had one of his better games for us yesterday.
autumn319 Posted May 14, 2006 Posted May 14, 2006 djibril was in the a french TV programm two weeks ago.that tv programm is called "auto moto",he was talking about his cars.he was in his hummer and guess what ? the decoration of his hummer is .he even has a nickel grenade at he top of his gearstick. that looney djib makes me laugh.
Flip Martian Posted May 14, 2006 Posted May 14, 2006 I'd much rather he put his energies into playing as well as he can rather than faffing about with different boots. Mind on the job, and all that...
Dublinred4ever Posted May 14, 2006 Posted May 14, 2006 I'd much rather he put his energies into playing as well as he can rather than faffing about with different boots. Mind on the job, and all that... Couldnt agree more, but credit where its due, he did alright yesterday. I've a feeling Rafa might keep him
Flip Martian Posted May 14, 2006 Posted May 14, 2006 Me too - I reckon he'll stay on. More consistent next season hopefully.
autumn319 Posted May 14, 2006 Posted May 14, 2006 19 goals this season.not that bad, huh? when he was on the left hand side,he never got the ball.weird.
eth Posted May 14, 2006 Posted May 14, 2006 I'd much rather he put his energies into playing as well as he can rather than faffing about with different boots. Mind on the job, and all that...Bit harsh. He probably does all of this to bolster his confidence, to pretend that he's not affected by the criticism.
Guest Ant Posted May 14, 2006 Posted May 14, 2006 I thought Cisse was a class act, you can see his affect on the team mentally.
eth Posted May 14, 2006 Posted May 14, 2006 (edited) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iLc12xFUNCo&search=liverpool the headscarf, dancing as the cup is lifted, and the limp as he comes off the podium like something out of Platoon. Edited May 14, 2006 by eth
Andy-oh-six Posted May 14, 2006 Posted May 14, 2006 I caught the highlights last night and he gave a glowing tribute to Gerrard - the quotes are on .tv. He seemed in awe of Gerrard's ability and quite humble. He'll still go.
jariiiiiiiiiise Posted May 14, 2006 Posted May 14, 2006 Couldnt agree more, but credit where its due, he did alright yesterday. I've a feeling Rafa might keep him really think rafa was pleased with him then watch the highlights in extra time break when he gets instructions from rafa, see rafas face as he refuses implying he wants to come off. rafa turns his back on him and walks away with a face like thunder
Guest Anders Honoré Posted May 14, 2006 Posted May 14, 2006 I think he wanted to wear it, no ribbons. Think so too. Still a nutter though.
Guest Sabre Posted May 14, 2006 Posted May 14, 2006 cissé is in the 23 players for france. His agent is responsible for that He's been in every single bloody World Cup advert
£440,000 Posted May 14, 2006 Posted May 14, 2006 He could be the first footballer on the new MTV show "Pimp My Medal".
