There's something I really like about it, like he's setting a level of quality that he expects from the recipients of his passes.

He does tend to fire the ball at people but, when it's aimed forwards to a player with quality it can really help. Someone like coutinho can use that pace on the ball and make his first touch a really positive one, especially if we're looking to counter attack.

I know that it seems sensational but my initial thoughts on him were that he doesn't get it, and that hasn't changed. There's obviously a scale but it's clear when you've got a player on your hands. It's an interesting thought in fact, how many players can you think of whose opinion of you've changed drastically? I've always liked Sakho but thought he seemed excitable. I remember thinking there was a player in Lucas once he got up to pace. Not trying to sound like Captain Hindsight here but think it's an interesting discussion to have.

I'm quite happy with having Sakho being my favourite player, it feels quite novel having a good defender. Firmino is a write off, you could tell within minutes of his debut.
